Gatorcchri I was wondering if anyone knows how to go about buying a castle? Are there any web pages that show them or snail mail items? What are some usual prices and what countries are good for the classic style castle?

KnightValr Got $2.5 million? There's an excellent stone castle called Jorstadt castle for sale. It IS for sale as is, and is also on an island, not to mention seems to lack any sort of central heating or cooling. It is *HUGE* however.

Also check out this site. It's a replica of a norman keep, small in size (about 3000 square feet), although it does look pretty nice for being made of brick. It says offers starting at $1.5 million will be considered. Hefty chunks of change! Anyone who has that sort of money, please send me some! =)

Philip Davis I wouldn't call Country Life mainstream where I live in inner city Birmingham but it does have a web site at http://www.countrylife.co.uk/ The properties page appears to have a couple of scottish L plan castles for sale at the 600k pound sterling mark, but neither look as nice as Castle Levan.
